Please Note:
1. Since there are very few ‘normal weeks’, it is important to use the Weekly Newsletter to confirm the up-to-date Mass Times.
2. At Sacred Heart, when there is no weekday Mass, a Eucharistic Service is held at 9:00 am. That is (normally) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
3. On some Wednesdays, Mass is celebrated at St Bernard’s High School at 9:00am. On these days, there is no Mass at St Columba’s. All Parishioners are welcome to attend the school Mass. A lift-sharing scheme is operated to help people to get there.
4. If you are unable to attend Mass in either of our churches, then Mass is normally celebrated at 12:10pm every lunch time at St Mary’s, Duke Street, Barrow.
Easter Services 2012
The Easter Triduum Services – our joint parish services for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday will be held this year at St Columba’s church.
Service times will be announced during Lent in the parish Newsletter and published here when available.
Easter Sunday morning Masses will be held at the normal Sunday morning times:
- at St Columba’s at 9:30 am
- at Sacred Heart at 11:00 am
